I was on holiday in Favignana, Aegadian. I must say that internet communications on this island is quite poor and badly organized. In fact, even the printed guides speak little.
But it is an advantage! For the first time in a long time since I arrived in a place without knowing everything there was to know because I studied the guide. It 's more exciting to discover things in place, talk to people for advice and open your eyes to landscapes never seen nor imagined.

Yes, it's true. But there are a few things worth knowing before you leave, but, curiously, I did not find it anywhere. There the list:
1) Bring the shoes rock
2) Favignana is not as expensive as they say (what it is, sometimes less, a seaside resort in summer)
3) A Favignana there by public transport. Even if times are pretty sparse, and work well enough to organize
4) Unless you are trained, not rented bicycle, the best motor
5) Favignana is flat (apart from Mount St. Catherine in the middle)
6) To get to the coves of the need to travel for dirt. These are marked with a different color on the maps that give you (the maps do not have legend)
7) Favignana island fishing, where just go to the docks to find fishermen willing to make you take a ride on their vessel. The tourism system is quite organized. But maybe you can find something less touristy port to another, Morasol, or Levanzo, but I have not tried.
8) The couscous fish is nothing special (at least those that I ate that and other people with whom I spoke)
9) The most beautiful part of the island is uninhabited (over the tunnel)
10) Campsites is to find the most beautiful island, but are a bit 'decentralized
11) Levanzo When you go to see the Grotta del Genovese, offer you a tour of the island for a small fee. The tour is one, but at least it leaves you in a beautiful cove
12) Even if you're not diving, however, bring mask, snorkel and fins for snorkeling

Ah, another What ... Do not take the hydrofoil from Naples. The erase most of the time. Much better fly to Palermo and Trapani and then by bus. From there the connections are good for Favignana. ... the bus company is called Segesta (even this the sites they say ...).
