I had never heard of Fabri Fibra. (Minisaggio almost philosophical)

[draft under review]

Intro
Sunday, September 5, for some reason, I watched the mail and draws me a news on Virgil: " Outgoing Italian dell'Eminem the new album." Eminem Italian? Who is it?
Photo: ever seen. Name: ever heard.
The news says that in his album Fabri Fibra sends word to everyone from Laura Chiatti (which I do not know who he is) to Letizia (who know who he is). One would want to fuck, the other size to all the other pieces ... Just fuck them. Shit, and who is this? "Claudio, have you ever heard of Fabri Fibra? "Yes, Italian rapper" "And do a little 'feel something ..." "There are 100 ways to die, 100 ways etc etc". Oh well, Google> Wikipedia (!)> Fabrizio Tarducci, age 34, blah blah. Not much.

Romulus, My MTV ... In Italy ...
The first page I open is MTV (then I'll say it was really the best approach that I could have a Fabri Fibra.) The first thing I see (in part auto-play) is a beautiful Mining Sulcis documentary made by / with him. In short, spent Sunday afternoon watching all the episodes of "In Italy . Documentaries intelligent and interesting as few as none innovative, fresh and sharp, with no educational aspirations.
Then (again thankfully), I see the Storyteller that fiber has done for the 'MTV Day 2010 . Booyah! A lesson in rap do not like the feeling for years. A real lesson, explains why Fabri Fibra strategies are born with some pieces. Beautiful "Three words " almost brilliant tune from the circus "in VIP trip " (which turned out to be the single from the new album Counterculture). Sure, I can not help but notice a little 'for cock, pussy, etc. in the texts, but within normal limits. And then the lyrics hip hop eat this stuff.
At the end of Sunday the idea that I had done was "good 'I'm Fabri Fibra. And I wanted to hear more. On YouTube I discovered that Fabri Fibra good that I had seen so far is (apparently) another person in relation to the rapper Fabri Fibra.
The lyrics are nothing short of stinging: machismo, sexism. Beginning to blur. Attack "singers ricchioni" who are afraid when entering a room in her pussy. Then in an interview to air recover the young and wise with the big eyes wide open says that if one is gay and famous should declare to give courage to so many young homosexuals who live their condition with difficulty. Well, put it he's right! He said strong things to say in a strong way to counter the world's weak and dominant culture plastic. (Ok, but still a sense of chirping between the two fibers).

The contradictions are everywhere. Among his writings and his interviews. Among the explicit text and subtext implicit parts. Fabri Fibra
us wallow. Only one recent example: in " VIP Trip" is a short circuit between word and gesture. One verse says, "Find a girl" (the context is a narcissist which can be measured only with itself). In the video on the word "girl" he makes the gesture of her pussy. It uses two opposing figures of speech that oppose and complement each other: the act of pussy is a synecdoche (a part to indicate the total), while the word is a metonymy (all "girl" part = "pussy"). The combination of the two meanings creates an alienating effect and creates a new meaning.
But the contradictions, there is one, very strong, which is external to Fabri Fibra: its fans. It is about twenty years old, but the most incredible thing is that most (at least 60%) are girls (often in love with him). But how is it possible that there are many girls going back to one that (in words) and he even despises the violence (v. " I give you a gift ")?

Fabri Fibra and the end of the world (in Zizek style)
The philosopher Slavoj Zizek in his latest book, "Living in the end time" compares our age to a terminally ill patient. At this terminal condition, according to Zizek, Western society reacts collectively as' response to news of a tragedy before which we can do nothing (the stages are: denial, anger, attempt to circumvent, despair, yield, until the acceptance ).
What if you could use some of the concepts of Zizek to explain Fabri Fibra? My idea is that fiber may be a discordant element that breaks the pattern of collective response. This is not a revolutionary, but perhaps some sort of madman who sees the reality that we can not see and that tells us the painting it with blood and shit (we hope that we understand it ... or not?). Here are some examples from Zizek.

Politically (s) correctness
In our era are all liberals. Correctly, Zizek (p.37) argues that liberalism has two faces, one on the right (economic freedom) and a left-wing (social liberalism). Fabri Fibra apparently would be a point of intersection between liberalism 2 : make money does and says what he wants.
However, liberalism social standing because it has two components that limit themselves: freedom of expression and tolerance. The corollary of this is the politically correct mix without which freedom of expression is not socially acceptable.
Instead, Fabri Fibra brings freedom of expression to its extreme consequences. Interprets it in a pure, stripped from politically correct. Turn the freedom of expression in a gesture dysfunctional, revealing the hypocrisy that underlies liberalism. For example, speaking of women as sex objects is generally considered an absolute taboo. The television images, by contrast, seem to convey precisely this conception of women (but not "say"). When Fabri Fibra says "Find a girl" and makes the gesture of her cunt and calls the extreme language of television images, in this way reveals the contradiction (words vs. deeds).
This creates a dualism (the "good liberal" vs. "bad politically scorrect") (see Sarah Ahmed, manusctipt unpublished, cited in Zizek Idibia. P.43 No. 46) which could explain the dissociation of the label Fabri Fibra album "counterculture." Ahmed said that, during an English edition of Big Brother, a competitor was expelled for having a racist behavior directed against another competitor (a similar thing happened in Italy where a competitor was expelled for a violent act). Ahmed Channel4 interprets the reaction of the issuer (= maximum "penalty" for the competing racist) not so much as a sincere reaction to the protection of civil rights, but rather as a way to mark a difference to the public: "we" (Channel4, Italia1 , Universal) are good and we are absolutely different from "them" (who do not share our liberal values). Fabri Fibra off his mask to liberal multiculturalism, in the words of Zizek, is nothing but the human form of the old barbarism, and Universal is "forced" to deviate in order to remain among the "good".

Hardcore and soft-porn
The texts are undoubtedly strong sexual Fabri Fibra. Speaking of hardcore pornography, Zizek notes how this is characterized by exceptionally ridiculous plots and characters with stereotypical caricatures (always equal). According to Zizek (ibid. p. 122), this absolute unreality would serve to make palatable the explicit sex. Pornography comply with certain rules: yes, sex is hyper-realistic, but the relationships shown are so paradoxical, bordering on the ridiculous. So we made a pact with the audience: those individuals are represented by a two-dimensional universe, are not real.
Similarly, in soft-porn prime time television universe is proposed as a two-dimensional, the rule is that it is a game. The chick (or dumpling) on \u200b\u200bduty so strongly gendered behavior (from ballet to suit) but the message is that they simply do not exist in reality or, if any, are "normal" people brave and god-fearing. In this way they become acceptable for mothers, the desire to arrive at the TV as a goal for your daughter (or son). Fabri Fibra
breaks this rule and reveals the reality without patina. Reveals that sexuality in TV is perceived as real (because women are on TV they always seem to have sex ... ") and even generates reactions in the real world (" because you love me so excited? "). It goes further, not only in the face that says that is reality, but is also dangerous to the mother says that the daughter of 16 years (aspirating tissue?) Goes around dressed like a slut and the consequence of this is that Professor behind the drooling (from troiaggine "two-dimensional" tangible than the TV next door).

The Joker: the anti-(Pre) Oedipus
According to Zizek, our society is like an infant trapped in the pre-Oedipal state, what the psychoanalysts call the oral-anal. An infantile world where there is no death or adverse consequences whatsoever. A world like that cartoon where if the characters are immediately destroyed and reassembled to fit in the circus fun.
In this world, the strong form of Fabri Fibra acts as an anomaly. Be a post-Oedipus that "parents killed" and who sees the world in all its violent contradictions.
Its negative connotation (the self-deprecating "Mr. Charm," "I hate Fabri Fibra", the constant reference to suicide and madness) might suggest the mask of the Joker in "The Dark Knight "as opposed to Batman (who is integrated into the" good "mentioned earlier).
According to Zizek, Batman (as all the classic superheroes) are living the duality of man / Mask, Joker, by contrast, mocks the superhero trapped in the stereotype (in fact, in the film, always tells a different story about how he became what is). Joker is much more steeped in reality than it is Batman, Batman exists in the fiction of his mask, but Joker is the mask itself and for this scandal.
universe we're talking about: while most of the stars and rising stars of the show-biz experience the duality form per person, Fabri Fiber instead identifies himself in his own mask disturbing. And it is particularly annoying because it does not arise outside the main stream, but it wallows and stirs with reality in all its negativity ("Laura Chiatti wanted to give me the" ... "[but] I'm afraid to take the ' AIDS "). In these lines, I think, not what he says is that that girl could get AIDS (or that a person is at risk for his libertine behavior), what it says is that there is the glossy world of VIP that is all beautiful without negative things in the real world there are bad things.
Still, the form of Fabri Fibra macho fucking women (and rejects) might have the function to tell the power of sexual attraction for people "famous" and the fact (almost socially accepted) that if one is "famous" has the right to use the woman's body and that it is for women, the key access being famous (if my interpretation of the rhyme "before I found you, then you do" in "Three words" is not too far-fetched).

Conclusions: Fiber is the end of the world
If the analysis of Fabri Fibra as a mask at the end of the world is plausible, it is possible to reconcile the Fabri Fibra documentary with the macho rapper. You can explain the gestures vs contradictions texts, pieces of content vs. interviews. In fact would not be contradictory, it would be rather like the Joker every time that tells a different story about the origin of his mask. He says to those who feel that the world in which we live is not Cartoonia (see Roger Rabbit), and that if we decide to leave our state pre-Oedipal see what's behind the scene (actually a rotting of the world end of the world).
What I think my analysis does not explain is why instead of fans Fabri Fibra there are so many girls ... (see Chris Rock on rap!)

Outro (ie why I'm interested in this)
was the middle of the 90s, when raiding the Italian hip hop scene. We went for semi-clandestine camping tent and my neighbors were Neffa and Deda (then come Dj Gruff, which for us was pretty god). "In my time" was not possible that a militant rapper (or independent) had a brand sexist (at least in words ...). Language type bitch, you do so on were the preserve of those in the mainstream, which borrows this language from the U.S. did everything to rap bitches, mother fuckers, blow job etc etc.
Then, just before the 2000 I had the feeling that the same disappearing rap in Italy, which were absorbed DJs and MCs in the band as well. Of course remained but the writers were more and less good. In the end I thought that hip hop had become a ballet that you learn to dance school.
But thanks to this series of randomness in Italy I discovered that hip hop is alive, the scene is beautiful and there are people who are pretty tough stuff (Dargen D'Amico to name just one).
Finally, in this willingly mini essay, I left out the feedback on the music here because I was interested in words.
